INDIVIDUAL counseling
When working with individuals, our goal is to look at the dynamic of the individual's life and to work toward a solution. We understand that each individual is distinct in their own way, which is the basis upon which each session is based. There are a number of issues that may cause distress in one's life, such as Major Depression, Anger Management, Anxiety, Parenting, among others. Each issue is individualized and goal-directed. -
SUBSTANCE ABUSE counseling
Our goal in substance abuse therapy is for the individual to look at their life situation and to encourage an adjustment to that situation. There are a variety of issues discussed in substance abuse therapy ranging from the mechanisms that lead to substance abuse to the social environment that may promote substance use more than others.
INTENSIVE OUTPATIENT ALCOHOL & DRUG TREATMENT PROGRAM FOR TEENS AND YOUNG ADULTS
Crown Counseling has developed a substance use program for teens and young adults. This program was started in September 2009 and is now accepting new participants. The program includes 16-weeks of education, peer support, and individual/family therapy. Also included in the program is the development of new lifestyle skills and an introduction to 12-step recovery groups.
