Round and round the roundabout!
The new traffic circle has been open and operating for several months now.  Are you becoming an expert at negotiating it yet?  I travel around it two or three times a day and find that it helps move traffic through the intersection much faster than the original design with several lights.  All you need to remember are a few simple rules.
1.  There are yield signs at each spot before you enter the circle.  Simply wait until you can safely merge into the circle.  2. Once you are in the circle you have the right of way.  Carefully follow around until you reach the correct intersection point.  This has really prevented traffic back up in both on Lincolnway and La Porte Ave.  Now that we have the traffic circle down pat, work will begin on Lincolnway from the circle to Roosevelt Ave.  I have been told that one lane should always be open, but you might want to enter and exit Au Naturel Market from La Porte Ave.  This should always be open and will be easier than getting through construction.  

Goodbye Nettie☹:
It is with a sad heart that we must say goodbye to Nettie Quinton.  She has decided to make a career change.  Nettie will be going to work in a landscaping business.  We will miss her very much and thank her for her dedication during her employment here.  Goodbye and good luck, Nettie!
