"ZORA Tamburitza from Old Gary" CD
Milan was a Gary Fireman, with a Serbian Captain that enjoyed tamburitza music, whose brother-in-law had recording equipment. At the Captain's request, they recorded this collection at the fire station between fire alarms, with several interruptions. Eventually it was completed with some good results. The firehouse was rearranged, beds moved, and turned into a studio for the evening. The 1960's recording features musicians Steve Barich on prima, Milan Opacich on cello and vocals, Gilbert Vuyakovich on bugarija, and George Milovanovich on bass. This collection of favorite old songs is a popular choice.
Song list includes: Kad Ja Gledam Zoru, Sanjaj Marelo, Cep Cep, Kreni Kreni, Ne Placi Daniela, Volilise Dvoje Mladi, Aman, Leti Leti.
