Popular energy saving light bulbs manufactured by Telstar Products d/b/a Spring International, Inc in Brooklyn, New York have been recalled.

According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission over 310,00 light bulbs are being recalled since they can overheat, which can cause a fire hazard.

The recalled energy saving light bulbs were sold at various discount stores from August 2010 through March 2011 for between $1 and $1.50.  You can find additional information and a picture of the recalled lights on the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission website.
