This poses a suffocation hazard to infants.  The recalled Bassinets were manufactured by the Dorel Juvenile Group, of Columbus, Indiana.

In addition, for strollers manufactured in January and February 2012, the nuts that hold the stroller's basket support screws in place can detach. Detached nuts can pose a choking hazard to young children.

According to the notice, the recall involves two styles of Target Home Bunny Sippy Cups. The cups come with handles on both sides in pink and blue, female and male. Each contains a corresponding white bunny head screw-on lid and one bent ear and one straight ear. The cups can be identified by imprints on the bottom: "TARGET 200020683" for pink and "TARGET 200020884" for the blue.

The recalled cups were sold only at Target stores nationwide from February 2012 through April 5, 2012 for $3.

According to the CPSC this recall affects all Chefmate® 6-Speed Blenders, model BL-10. The model number is located on the bottom of the base. The blender consists of a six-inch tall, white electrical base with five, white speed-selector buttons labeled 1 through 5, one gray button labeled “Pulse/Off” and the word “Chefmate®” in black letters on the front; a clear plastic pitcher with a handle with U.S. and metric volume measurement markings; a white plastic lid with a removable clear plastic lid stopper; and a white plastic blade assembly with two angled, stainless steel blades.

The recalled blenders were only sold at Target stores nationwide from September 2007 to February 2011 for about $14.

The Northwest Indiana personal injury law firm, Schlyer & Associates, Aggressive Trial Lawyers warns of a recall issued by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission,  of 13,000 Circo Children’s Task Lamps sold only at Target Stores.

According to the recall notice, the lamps may overheat, causing the adhesive inside the lamp socket to melt and migrate into the bulb area of the socket. The cooled glue can adhere to the light bulb base and make the bulb difficult to remove which can result in a broken light bulb, posing a risk of laceration to consumers. Melted flammable glue that migrates onto the electrical components of the lamp poses a risk of fire.

Four styles of the children’s task lamp are included in this recall with the names Striped, Sports, Dot or Flower Dot and have a label with the UPC number on the bottom according to the recall notice.

The recalled lights were sold at Target stores nationwide and Target.com from January 2011 to April 2011 for about $13.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission warns the booster seat’s restraint buckle can open unexpectedly, allowing a child to fall from the chair and be injured. This is an expansion of a prior recall.  This expanded recall involves all Circo Booster Seats, including those sold as early as 2005 according to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.

The recalled booster seats were only sold at Target stores nationwide from January 2005 through June 2009 for about $13.

The recalled trikes were manufactured by Kiddieland Toys Limited, of Scituate, Mass. According to the recall notice, the plastic castle display and the princess figures protruding from the top of the handle bar pose a laceration hazard if a child falls on it.

The trikes were sold at Target, JCPenney, Meijer and H.E.B. stores nationwide and on the Web at www.target.com from January 2009 through April 2011 for about $50.

The Northwest Indiana personal injury law firm, Schlyer & Associates warns Target has recalled a curry spice sold at its stores.  According to Target, the recall is issued due to high levels of lead in their Archer Farms Ground Turmeric.

The Georgia Department of Agriculture has announced the nationwide recall involves 2.6 ounce bottles of B&M Inc. curry spice with "best by" dates from June 2011 through January 2012, citing a Saturday Atlanta Journal-Constitution report.

The jars of spice were shipped to Target stores from June 2009 to February 2010, the newspaper said.

As is well known, lead is toxic, more so if ingested. It is known to cause mental and physical problems, including learning disabilities.
