Tax day is just a few days away, and what better way to celebrate tax time with a joke about the Inland Revenue Service. Who you say? Inland Revenue, or 'The Taxman' as The Beatles put it, is England's equivalent to the IRS.

I produced this corporate video for Webster Buchanan Research a few years ago. Their goal was to capture some of the wisdom and inspiration from Silicon Valley business leaders and bring it back to home to England, along with a few bad jokes. Don't worry, you won't receive a mandatory filing request from Her Majesty after watching the video. (another bad joke)

Martin Pichinson was great to work with. He claimed to have no talent, but he was more comfortable in front of the camera than most people I interview.

My favorite of the bunch is the Town Hall Meeting, where Prosper.com founders Chris Larsen and John Witchel chat with venture capitalist Robert Kagle (Director of eBay) about the challenges of building a successful company in the Web 2.0 era. In the spirit of transparency that drives Prosper's ideology, the bulk of the discussion is focused on their intents for the company and is driven by audience questions. I personally enjoyed the back story of how Prosper originated.

It's worth a view if you're interested in startups and entrepreneurial ventures. It may even motivate you to become a member of Prosper.
