It is time once again to check out some new Tearooms out of State. My husband and I go once a year to a different area to see whats going on in their nec of the woods. This travel will take us to Martha's Vinyard and to Clarence New York for High Tea. I will let you all know how it was when I have the chance to recover from all the fine foods and shopping...

Remember, we will remain open throughout my travels...

Thanks ...Rhonda

Tiffany's Recipie of the Month

posted by rhonda on Aug 12th, 2008 at 8:08 am

Each month we will feature a wonderful recipe that we use at our Tearoom for you to make in the comfort of your own kitchen. and this month we will start with ...

Sour Cream Quiche

This Quiche is a bit firmer than regular cream quiches.  It holds up well to the addition of vegetables, meats or other variations.  Servings: 6-8

10 slices bacon cooked and crumbled

4 eggs

2 cups sour cream

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

1 1/4 cups shredded swiss cheese

one 9-inch pie crust of your choice

Preheat oven to 425

In a large bowl mix bacon, eggs, sour cream, salt, nutmeg and cheese; stir to mix well.  Line your pie pan with pastry and pour egg mixture into pan.  Bake for 15 minutes. Reduce oven to 350 and bake for an additional 45 minutes, until golden brown. Remove from oven.  Let stand at room temperature for 10 minutes before serving.
